On 30th May, 2016, the Ministry of Public Works of the Government of Kuwait employer Limak ln§aat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.$. as the main contractor for the Construction, Completion, Furnishing and Maintenance for Kuwait International Airport New Passenger Terminal (Terminal II) Project

Our work in this project in general is supervising, and provide consultancy services for Architectural, MEP (including elevators, escalators/travellators) and Structural (such as fire rating of the steel structures and so forth) in terms of Kuwait Fire Services Directorate (“KFSD”) requirements.

Our scope of work

• Preparation of Fire Zoning/Fire Compartmentation of the Terminal building
• Reviewing the plans and/studies before submission, coordinating with the KFSD
• Reviewing all other design consultants’ and subcontractors’ documents with respect to Fire engineering with regard to KFSD requirements and report to the Contractor.
• Provide coordination between the Contractor and subcontractors, engineer/engineer’s representative and KFSD.
• Fire ratings of architectural, mechanical, electrical and structural materials and/or equipment
• Revision of construction site layout and temporary structures (satellite site offices, accommodation site, workshops/factories etc..).
• Attending inspections during construction and/or test & commissioning with the engineer/engineer’s representative and/or KFSD on site
• Attending the design & coordination meetings
